    We match and confirm

    Our team personally reviews your request, matches you with the right therapist for your needs (sometimes the one you chose, sometimes someone we think fits even better), and sends you a confirmation email with all the details.

Do I have to fill out the intake form?

No, the intake form is strongly recommended but not required. You can request an appointment without it — just note that our team will have less context for matching, and may reach out to ask a few questions before confirming.

Can I choose my own therapist?

Yes. When you browse our therapist directory, you can request an appointment with anyone you feel drawn to. Our team will typically confirm your choice — we only suggest a different therapist if we think someone else would be a better match for your specific needs, and we'll always explain why.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within 24 hours of your request, our team will review your submission, confirm a therapist match, and send you a confirmation email with the session details and any next steps.

Is there a fee to sign up or browse?

No. Creating an account, browsing therapists, and submitting a request are all free. You only pay for actual therapy sessions, and pricing varies by therapist.

Are sessions online or in person?

Most of our therapists offer secure online video sessions. Some also offer in-person sessions depending on their location. You can indicate your preference when you fill out the intake form or submit your request.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Once your session is confirmed, you can manage it from your Appointments dashboard, or contact us directly. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for reschedules when possible.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your intake form, appointment requests, and communications are confidential. Your clinical information is only shared with the therapist matched to you, never with third parties.
